The science that relates between diet and health is known as nutrition. Balanced diet is very necessary for the proper living and to maintain the health and remain fit. There are almost six classes of nutrients such as carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals and water. A balanced diet includes all the nutrients in the required proportion to have a healthy mind and body.

The result of poor health is due to malnutrition either due to excessive intake or due to reduced intake of the nutrients. Starvation is the major concern in many of the states and the result is due to inadequate consumption of the micro nutrients. This inappropriate intake of nutrients in the proper quantity results in various malnutrition strategies such as PEM and Kwashiorkor.

Nutrition is directly related to fitness and to remain healthy it is very important to consume food rich in the nutrients. Apart from the available nutrients, there are other ways to add up nutrients as there are several health drinks available in the market to make you remain fit.

It is right to start with 10 minutes work out daily or alternate days. Slowly you can increase the time so that you work out thirty minutes daily. Sticking to the exercise routine is a difficult job, but for this you can stick onto something that fascinates you such as swimming, jogging, brisk walking etc. The fun of exercising could be increased by including a partner so that the entire procedure becomes a routine.
